Pretty, Fun, Fearless by Chloe Morello X Ciaté

Welcome again makeup lovers.  Today I am reviewing and demoing the Pretty, Fun, Fearless by Chloe Morello X Ciate eyeshadow palette!

So let’s get on to it! This palette is available at Mecca Maxima and retails for $61 for 15 shadows. That breaks down to roughly $4 per shadow, which is super reasonable. This palette was made by Ciaté in collaboration with Chloe Morello, a super popular Australian beauty guru. I personally enjoy Chloe’s videos. So I was super stoked to see her colab with a cruelty free company.

The palette is so compact and thin. Coming in at just 13mm thick, 167mm long and 107mm wide this palette is perfect for travelling. The colours in this colab are also so universally flattering too. The palette is cruelty free but unfortunately not vegan as some shades contain carmine.

This palette has the perfect shade range to create so many different looks from day to night. Pretty, Fun, Fearless includes some of Ciaté’s best selling shades and some new formulations just for the collaboration. The colour variations in this palette are very on trend as well as including some must haves too.

The pigmentation on all of the matte shades is incredible! Like amazing. They are buttery and soft but still pack a punch. The shimmer shades do require a bit of work to get the high colour payoff. But they are absolutely worth the work.

As for performance, these shadows did not crease at all on my very hooded eyes. They lasted a really long time too, long enough that the colours were still vibrant at the end of a full day’s wear. These shadows are really a dream to blend, they are so creamy helping them blend together seamlessly. Because the shadows are so pigmented and soft there is a bit of kick up in the pan if you use a heavy hand, but if you’re careful with your brush it’s more than manageable.

Here are some swatches;

My favourite shades include: Skinny Dip, Fierce. Flirt and Jet Setter.

Overall this palette is a huge hit for me! I am giving it a 4.9/5 star rating (0.1 short due to the shimmer shades behavior). It’s perfect for travel, I just came back from an overseas trip with this and used it nearly everyday. It has so many colours giving endless options for heaps of eye looks. And the shadows blend easily and perform really well. This palette is fast becoming a favourite for everyday use too.

Here is a quick tutorial I created with the Palette!

All over lid I used My Tribe (1). Then for the transition, Skinny Dip (2) and Be Sassy (3).

In the crease I used Jet Setter (4) and slowly built up Flirt (5).

In the outter V I blended Day Dream (6).

And for shimmers I used Fierce (7) in the middle of the lid and Dainty (8) for the inner corners.

For the finishing touches I added 2 coats of Better Than Sex Mascara by Too Faced.

I finished the rest of my makeup with the products listed below!
