Contouring: How To (cream contour)

Firstly I am going to start with a short disclaimer. This is the way I contour, everyone’s ideas of how to contour are different and that’s OK. This is my contour demo, there are many like it but this one is mine. Without my contour I am nothing. Without me my contour is nothing. Y’all get the idea… I find doing a cream contour so great for a night out or for when I want my face to last all night, I defs don’t do this every day just so you know!! So let’s push through to the good stuff!!

Step 3: Start by adding some oil to the palette. ( I use Atom Argan oil) This helps to get the product moving and ready to work into your skin.

collage-2016-08-01 (3)Step 5: Use a darker (not darkest shade) to start carving out the areas we want shaded. E.g. cheek hollows, either side of the nose, outer forehead and hairline also under the lip and jawline if required.

Step 6: Choose a darker shade to go into the cheek hollows and hairline with. (as seen above)

Step 8: Set your under eyes with a light powder to avoid creasing.

Step 9: Set your whole face with desired translucent powder (if you are done with liquid products, i.e blush)

Step 10: Apply eye makeup, blush, lips and the rest of your face as usual!
